METHI SPINACH PARATHA
Fenugreek seeds are famous for their ability to lower blood sugar levels ans maintain weight. They contain fibre and also helps to slow down the digestion process whereas spinach is an extremely nutrient-rich vegetable contains several vitamins and minerals, that can help regulate your blood sugar level and It has only 120 calories per thepla so You can easily incorporate this in your diet for weight loss.
Method to prepare: (It’s very easy🙈)
✔️Put 5 gms fenugreek and spinach leaves in a bowl. Add salt, green chilli (2-3 chopped), carom seeds (1/2 teaspoon), turmeric powder (1/2 teaspoon) and chilli powder(1/2 teaspoon) and mix well.
✔️Add little water in the flour (25gms) and knead into a stiff dough. Add oil and knead again. Cover it and set aside for 10-15 minutes.
✔️Divide dough into equal portions, flatten and roll out into thin small discs. Heat a non-stick tawa and roast the parathas with minimum oil, turning sides and till golden from both sides. Serve hot with mint chutney.
Tip: To make it more nutritious you can use multigrain flour which is better to make at home (Do not prefer Aashirwad multigrain flour as it has only 10% of multigrain)
