‘JUST ONE COFFEE’⁉️

While stretching out after a training session, I asked a client what she had eaten so far that day. “This morning I had coffee and a bagel…”. After some back and forth dialogue, I find out that she was not just referring to a black coffee with some cream/sugar, but to a calorie dense, sugar filled, whipped cream topped Starbucks drink. While there’s nothing wrong with the occasional treat, there is a huge difference between a regular coffee and a fancy coffee shop drink.

☕️ A Grande Starbucks Frappuccino has roughly 360 calories and over 50g of sugar in it. Just this coffee drink alone could be almost 25% of her total calorie needs for the day. A habit that adds an extra 350+ daily calories could alone bring weight loss to a halt.

The little things like your morning coffee or really do add up if you aren’t careful. Be aware!
